A conversation with Ethan

Last night we had dinner with my parents. Ethan doesn't like pork tenderloin, pasticio, blackeye peas or Greek salad. On the way we made a quick stop at the McDonald's drive-thru. Since we wanted him to eat we ordered one of those fabulous chicken nugget kids' meals.

I decided to give him the toy ahead of time, and save the food for when we all sat down to eat at my Mom's.

Me: You want the toy now?
Ethan: Yes, yes! Which one is it?
Me: It's the Narnia lion. (pass the toy, still in the plastic wrapping to E)
Ethan: Oh boy! I've got an erection!
Adam and I immediately turn and stare at each other, disbelief on our faces.
Me: What?
Ethan: I've got an erection with my toy.
Adam: That's my boy!
Me; He means directions! The toy came with directions!

Adam and I shamelessly giggle with each other the remainder of the drive.

ahahahaa
that is funny!

My 5 year old calls them "Constructions" but erections is way funnier.

I thought he was just *that* excited about getting the lion.

We got them this weekend too.

My daughter Amber went to see the movie with her boyfriend.
She said it was long and not as good as Harry Potter or LOTR.

She also informed us that the lion's name was Aslan, not Leo.

My 7 year old had drawn a picture of him and written "Leo the Lion"

O-M-G that is funny!! reminds me of my eldest when she was very young, my then father-in-law had built a grandfather clock and darling daughter referred to it as papa's cock -- because she couldn't say the "L"

LOL, that's great for giggling about at home, but maybe not to be encouraged elsewhere! Mstr A calls them destructions, but that's because half the time reading the instructions causes destruction:-)

Um, you know those McD's nugget meals are mostly sugar, don't you?

H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S!

My son calls them 'constructions'.

I guess my son isn't the only picky eater around. We do the same thing when we go to my outlaws for dinner. Gotta love McD.

What a hoot! It is always a trip to see what they come up with! My brother said "F" instead of "tr" so when he played with his "cars and trucks".... well, it was interesting.
