Flashback

Really simple things make me really happy. During my lunch ride, the Flashback Lunch was playing on the radio. Three of my favorite oldies were played. If I were going to call and make a request, these three songs would probably have been on my list.

So, what's on your Flashback Lunch?

I would have to say Wild Wild West by The Escape Club, Karma Chameleon by The Culture Club, and Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now by Starship.

Don't have a Flashback Lunch and I'm ashamed to say, I don't even know what that is! (lol)..And even more embarrassing...I've heard of your three favorite bands, but do not know one song that any of them do....Help Me!!!

Love your choices!

I would go with:

"Rapture" by Blondie

"Let it Whip" by Dazz Band

"Off the Wall" by Michael Jackson

Because of some email I received I have been hearing Bon Jovi "Shot through the Heart" in my head. So as bad as it sounds I'd have to hear that one.

Maybe mix in a little "Funky Cold Medena".

Oh dear, don't know wjo the Flashback Lunch are! Sorry! but if we're talking of oldies, i'd go with everything from the Beatles and songs from my fave 90s singer, Sybil! :-)

Oh, god. I'm just reeling from the classification of the Sex Pistols as "oldies". My toes are curling up in my snakeskin doc martens.

Happy New Year. Michele sent me.

So funny.... someone thought that Flashback Lunch was a band. I hate to laugh at other commenters, but that really did make me giggle!

Anyway, it's hard for me to pick because I have just about every song that I love right on my computer so I can't imagine having to "request" anything.

But if I had to pick three of my favorite "oldies" (and I'm guessing here that we're talking 70s-80s and not earlier):

Billy Idol: Cradle of Love
Crowded House: Don't Dream It's Over
Squeeze: Another Nail in My Heart

Too hard to pick just three!!

I have to agree with your choices, but I'd probably also ask for

English Beat-- Mirror in the Bathroom
Ramones--Sheena Is (a punk rocker)
Clash--London Calling
