a new toy for me

I got a new camera last night, and I'm still playing with it. Decided to share a pic of my favorite subject.

Somehow, going back to a film-based point-and-shoot seems ridiculous.

But I'll hold onto my beloved old SLR pretty much forever. There's something about the way film and a tack sharp lens combine to capture a child's face.
